Haslemere Arts Festival bounces back
23 April 2021 – After a long, cold and lockdown winter, the new “road map” offers a positive boost for the popular Haslemere Arts Festival and a light at the end of the Covid tunnel.
The Festival is delighted to announce that a full programme of events and entertainment will now be allowed to go ahead, either live or via Zoom online, with two fantastic weeks of art, culture, walks, talks, children’s entertainment, classical music ensembles, solo singers and dance, jazz and opera concerts.
In Covid-safe and secure venues in and around Haslemere, concert highlights include an evening with world famous singer, Mark Padmore, the fabulous Tippett Quartet and the uplifting Piccadilly Dance Orchestra.
Weekend and family events feature Haslemere’s first Scarecrow competition and The Gruffalo with Julia Donaldson. There is also a host of weekday talks highlighting historical anniversaries and local affairs.
